I haven’t exercised in a while (or I’m not flexible). Is this for me?

Absolutely. In fact, most of my clients come to me specifically because they feel stiff or ‘out of practice.’ My approach isn’t about touching your toes on day one; it’s about using imagery and anatomy to help you move your unique body more optimally. We start exactly where you are.

I have a specific ‘niggle’ (back/hip/shoulder)—can Pilates actually help?

Yes. My ‘superpower’ is translating technical anatomy into movement that fixes those persistent aches. By strengthening the support system around your joints and improving how you move in daily life, we work to move you past those niggles so you can get back to the sports you love.

What makes your style of Pilates different from a big gym class?

Unlike crowded classes where you’re just a face in the back, my sessions are calm and listening-led. I use a lot of imagery—rather than just technical jargon—to make sure you truly feel the movement. It’s a bespoke experience designed for business owners and busy professionals who want quality over quantity.

I’m a busy person. How often do I need to come to see results?

Consistency is key, but I understand a busy diary. Most of my clients find that one to two sessions a week creates a significant shift in how they feel on the golf course or in the office. The goal is to give you tools you can use even when you’re off the mat.

What Should I Wear? Do I need any special equipment?

Keep it simple! Just wear comfortable clothing you can move in (leggings or joggers and a t-shirt). For 1:1 sessions and small groups, I provide all the equipment you need. You just need to show up ready to focus on yourself

Is Pilates just ‘fancy stretching’ or will I actually get stronger?

It’s much more than stretching! We focus on functional strength—the kind that helps you lift suitcases into overhead lockers, hike for miles, and stay agile. You’ll leave feeling taller and ‘worked,’ but in a way that feels energising rather than exhausting.
